Lake County is changing in many ways, and with that comes new challenges for Law Enforcement.
As your next Sheriff my top priority will be to ensure our department is ready to face these new challenges.
On day one, I will show up ready to go to work on a plan for A safer Lake County , based on the six key areas below.
1. Public Safety & Crime Prevention
Prioritize proactive policing and community-based crime reduction strategies
Increase patrols in high-crime areas
Continue investing in training for de-escalation, crisis intervention, and use-of-force reduction
Engage in joint efforts with our law enforcement partners across all levels of government to
reduce and prevent crime
2. Community Engagement

communities more effectively
Use data analytics to deploy resources effectively
Pursue grants to reduce taxpayer burden
4. Corrections & Rehabilitation

Develop and implement effective recruitment and retention initiatives to address staffing
challenges and promote career longevity within corrections
